Abstract: This article briefly explains the theoretical basis of"gynecological three needles"by analyzing the root causes of postpartum pelvic organ prolapse(POP).Through an exploration of the underlying factors contributing to postpartum POP,the paper elucidates that the pathogenesis of this condition is attributed to an imbalance of Yin and Yang energy. This acupuncture method fucuses on the intricate interplay of Yin and Yang,Duren belt pulse, and the traditonal Chinese medicine perspective on pelvic floor as a whole. It involves identifying the affected channels and selecting points based on the location of lesions.Key points such as Qihai(BL 24),Yaoyangguan(DU 3),bilateral Weidao(GB 28),Zhongliao(BL 33)are chosen to address issues related to the anterior, middle and posterior pelvic organ."gynecological three needles"method emphasize balancing Yin and Yang, with a strong stimulation of the BL 33 and DU 3 point to facilitate the transfer of warmth from Yang into Yin channel affected lesions.Intense stimulation of the BL 24,GB 28 acupoints can effectively adjust the Qi of Yin meridians to induce Yang to descend into the cells and ensuring a continuous circulation. This process fosters a harmonious balance between Yin and Yang energies, facilitating the unobstructed flow of Qi along the pulse channels and promoting the repositioning of organs by restraining the veins. This acupuncture method can balance Yin and Yang, tonify qi and strengthen withdrawal, and provide a new idea for prevention and treatment of postpartum POP.
